Hello to Spring

We welcome springtime to our community and are enjoying the re-emergence of fresh foliage and colorful flowers.  With spring come baseball and softball seasons, spring break, and graduation ceremonies.  We love celebrating these good times.

We want to remind you that with the warmer weather, children may be playing outside and possibly near the roads.  Please take extra caution and slow down when driving through residential neighborhoods.  Also remember that children learn by watching us.  If you are traveling with a child, please model the following good driving habits.

  • Wear your seat belt.
  • Obey the speed limit.
  • Slow down near schools and neighborhoods.
  • Don't text while driving.
  • Make sure children are in the correct car seats.

Thank you for keeping our roads and our citizens safe.  We look forward to the great times that spring brings.

Sincerely,

Sheriff Heath Jackson
